
Currently engaged in studying towards a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Ecology & Wildlife Conservation. Alongside studying, experience of over 10 years has been gained within the hospitality industry, developing strong skills in customer service, communication, multitasking, cash handling and working efficiently in fast-paced environments.
A highly motivated and adaptable individual who consistently strives to achieve high standards in both a professional and academic setting. A hospitality background has equipped the applicant with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of people, remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to changing situations.
While transitioning into a career within the environmental sector, the applicant has developed practical field experience through ecological and environmental studies, including investigating the environmental impacts of historical lead mining in the Peak District. Skills have also been developed in habitat management, species conservation and environmental policies, legislation and frameworks.
