I work as a classroom assistant alongside a newcomer support teacher, providing tailored assistance to international students with little to no English proficiency.

As a youth worker volunteer at the Cookstown Youth Resource Centre, I assist youth by planning and directing events like educational workshops, group discussions, and recreational games. I supervise and lead games throughout sessions, making sure they are inclusive, fun, and safe. I also assist in social interaction and community engagement.

Whilst in reception, I observed and assisted with administrative duties. I assisted with check out and taking bookings. From my experience, I saw the importance of excellent customer service and teamwork skills being developed. I also developed my interpersonal and communication skills further.
