I am 16 years old, I have experience working in a shop, so I can organize shelves and do price tags. I have good social skills from my refereeing so I can speak to customers and assist them.
I have been a referee for nearly 2 years now and I enjoy it every time as I get to interact with coaches and players on the pitch. I love football so being able to make an impact on others experience with the game is always good. Being a referee it has taught me to be able to make fast decisions and and be able to stand by my decisions even when challenged. I ref u10 once every other week on a Saturday Morning and Usually u14 every Sunday morning. Being a referee I have to introduce my self to players and coaches before the games start, this has made me more confident and not scared to speak to people.
I volunteered at Headway Charity shop for DofE. During my time there I learnt many valuable skills such as learning how to organize stock, clean the floors and assist customers with their needs. Fiona is the Manager and she said I was very keen and fulfilled any task we asked him to do, he was a very kind pleasant young man and delight to work with.
I have got my Bronze DofE award and also my Gold Scouts award I am in St Johns so I have first aid training I am comfortable to talk to anyone and happy to help with lots of things I have Grade 3 trumpet
