While working at crew and tech i have done many things such as, working on concerts, arena shows, football jobs[screen installs] and working at lights control rigging.

Whilst working at the arenas and concerts i have worked on a lot of different things such as lighting, audio, screens, front of house set up, building the stage and setting up all the cables for the show so i have knowledge of all the different equipment that is used. here is a list of a few shows/concerts i have worked on.

  • Peter kay
  • The killers
  • Kiss
  • Pink
  • The weekend
  • Blink182

and many more .

As i have said i have been working at lights control rigging for time now that's where i spend the most of my time, i have learned a lot whilst working there. The main tasks i carry out is

  • loading/unloading trucks
  • delooming the cables
  • taking lights off the truss and putting them in there cases
  • stacking truss
  • helping other departments when needed

And other times i am asked to lend a hand in rigging helping test motors, stack truss and prepare jobs.

Warehouse picker

studio
Accrington, Lancashire
09.2022 - 11.2022

This was a temporary contract at a warehouse in Accrington and my job was to fulfil orders in a timely manor, i had a piece of paper with a certain amount of orders, so i would read the order and go and find it and make sure i double checked it with the pick list to reduce errors and then add it to a dolly. I had to work fast and under pressure for the most part as i was the only picker at the time,

The main tasks was

  • pick orders
  • delivering the orders to the packers
  • cleaning my station
  • re stocking the shelves with products

Driver

The British Army
Winchester, Hampshire
11.2021 - 02.2022

I joined the army in 2021 as a driver for the Royal Logistics corps i was in phase 1 of my training, in the short amount of time i was there i learned a lot from it here is a list of what i learnt

  • discipline
  • team skills
  • communication
  • decision making and leadership
  • ability to stay calm whilst under pressure/stressful situations
  • physical skills

I learnt a lot about myself whilst i was there it taught me many life skills that i can implicate into the real life, all the team building exercises helped me work in a team and get things done on a deadline aswell as independent work.

The communication side of it helped with figuring out what our next move would be, making orders aswell as following orders it helped us become one unit and work well together.
