Archaeological Excavations Volunteering at the Elan Valley (2023)

Skipsea Castle Field School (May 2025):

Undertook manual excavation of Trench F at a site below Skipsea Castle using large tools (mattock, spade, etc.) and small tools (trowel, brushes, etc.) appropriately to unearth artefacts from the medieval to Mesolithic.  Produced plan and profile technical drawings, conducted post-excavation artefact processes.


Experimental Archaeology Weekend Course (April 2023):

Two-day bronze sword making course, drawing from ancient techniques.
