

Paediatric Intensivist with over eight years' experience in paediatrics , including more than five years in paediatric intensive and cardiac critical care across tertiary and quaternary settings. Holds MBBS, MD Paediatrics, and IDPCCM, with progressive senior roles spanning NICU, PICU, and consultant-level practice in India, and currently working as Senior Clinical Fellow in the Paediatric Cardio-Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at Royal Brompton Hospital, Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London .
Brings extensive experience managing high-acuity cardiac and respiratory failure , including postoperative congenital cardiac patients and advanced organ support, within a highly specialised multidisciplinary environment. Demonstrates strong clinical judgement, effective leadership during complex decision-making, and a collaborative approach to care delivery within diverse MDTs.

Provide senior-level clinical care in a quaternary paediatric cardio-respiratory PICU, managing critically ill children with complex cardiac and respiratory failure.
Lead the management of patients on ECMO (VA and VV), including initiation, ongoing management, troubleshooting, anticoagulation monitoring, and multidisciplinary decision-making.
Manage post-operative congenital cardiac surgery patients, including complex repairs, single-ventricle physiology, and patients requiring advanced haemodynamic and ventilatory support.
Deliver advanced care for severe respiratory failure, including ARDS, pulmonary hypertension, and chronic lung disease, utilising conventional and advanced ventilation strategies (HFOV, APRV, NIV).
Perform and supervise a wide range of paediatric critical care procedures, including endotracheal intubation, central venous access, arterial line insertion, HD catheter insertion, chest drain placement, and emergency resuscitation.
Utilise point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to support clinical decision-making, including lung ultrasound, functional 2D echocardiography, eFAST, cranial ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided vascular access.
Actively participate in Code Blue responses and simulation-based training within the PICU.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including paediatric cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, perfusionists, ECMO specialists, nursing staff, physiotherapists, and pharmacists.
Supervise and support junior doctors, contribute to bedside teaching, and participate in departmental education and clinical governance activities.
Ensure high standards of patient safety, documentation, and family-centred care, in line with NHS and Trust policies.
