  • Writing the complex summary of the patient's hospital stay, including instructions for the GP/PCP and a list of medications.
  • Inserting peripheral IVs, drawing blood (phlebotomy), or placing arterial lines (ABGs) for critical monitoring.
  • Placing nasogastric (NG) tubes for feeding/suction or urinary catheters (Foley).
