Teaching

I have done bedside teaching and clinic teaching for medical students during my foundation years. I have also taken part in teaching sessions organised by the university for mock exam sessions for final year students. Outside of work and medical school, I also taught regular lessons at my university's pole dancing society and in undergrad, I produced and organised all the lesson plans and taught many of the classes for pole dancing

Quality Improvement

I have carried out 2 cycles of an audit looking at the number of patients newly diagnosed with HIV were being offered IGRA testing in a busy city sexual health clinic. This showed positive change

I have also had experience carrying out an audit looking at the prescription of antibiotics to those presenting with acute uncomplicated diverticulitis

Research

I have carried out a research project in medical school alongside the plastic surgery department at the hospital. This looked at streamlining the online system used for keeping track of patients living with melanoma. This required applying for ethical approval and carrying out staff surveys

Presentation

I presented my poster An Insight Into The Scope Of Plastic Surgery at a regional conference held at my medical school
