Topic: Examining the relationship between perceived environmental uncertainty and self-regulated learning of finance professionals and the role of technology in supporting it
Research Outcome: As part of my doctoral research in technology-enhanced learning, I co-designed a technology intervention in the form of a mobile app and web module with finance practitioners. This intervention was designed from the user perspective and to help foster practitioners' self-regulated learning during times of uncertainty. I conducted workshops with finance practitioners for initial requirement gathering. I employed a mixed methods research design in the form of qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys to capture user perceptions and requirements. I used an iterative design-based usability testing technique to evaluate the technology intervention.
Research Methods Employed:
- Mixed Methods research design
- Quantitative Survey
- Qualitative Semi-structured Interviews
- User Interviews
- Remote Usability Testing protocol (for co-design)
