Dominic Fecher

A recent postgraduate student who has a 7-year history of studying business studies. I am now pursuing a graduate role. Throughout my degree, I have gained an interest in the complexities of working within the marketing space. I have a proven aptitude for effective communication skills and working to a high standard. My extracurricular activities demonstrate a genuine passion for sport, a desire to develop sporting opportunities, and promote participation

Sports

• Sport is important to me, I have a passion for all sports, none more so than my playing of cricket since the age of 8 at both club level and at school.
• I play Golf on a weekly basis at Goodwood Golf Club where I am a member whilst having an unofficial handicap of 15 whilst also watching the PGA Tour most weekends especially when it's one of the more important tournaments.

Volunteering

• Since 2016 I have been a junior cricket coach at my local cricket club helping children learn how to play cricket on a weekly basis throughout the summer, utilising my Level 1 cricket coaching qualification as well as using my leadership qualities to help organise teams and umpire competitive matches. I have since become the Player/Coach of the club's 1st team and a ECB Level 2 Umpire.
• I also undertake volunteer activities for the RNLI occasionally throughout the year.

Treasurer and Social Secretary of Oxford Brookes American Football Team

• I have enjoyed playing American football throughout my time at university of which I was the Social Secretary. My duties included being the team's treasurer where I managed the budget of the team's expenses and the organisation of weekly social events with other teams and societies.
