Interests

I Enjoy going bowling with my friends every week, as I find it fun to constantly try and beat my personal best and learn new techniques and patterns to maximise the score I get, which I enjoy very fondly, especially when doing it alongside my friends., I also enjoy going ice skating every couple week, as it teaches me how to face new challenges head on, as it was practically learning how to walk for the first time stepping on the ice, and it helps with being able to relax and stay fit., I Enjoy helping the charity Alfie’s Squad in my free time, which helps young children who have been bereaved by suicide to find peace and learn to move on with their life, while still remembering the person who they lost. I enjoy raising money for them such as doing the fire walk, race for life (which we had to travel across the Uk over 3 days, while getting hints across the way, inspired by the tv show race across the world), as I think they are a brilliant cause and are one of the only bereavement centre for young children and also the parents in the Uk, which is changing due to Alfie’s squads inspiration., IT is also a major interest of mine, as in my free time I am constantly learning new skills and gaining a deeper understanding of how different technologies operate. I enjoy IT because it is a subject with a vast amount of knowledge and continuous opportunities to learn, which is what interests me most about it.

Accomplishments

An achievement of mine that i am extremely proud of is winning student of the month in march for riverside college for IT student of the month, while also winning another award for work placement student of the month which was awarded by the company Very who personally awarded me for the work placement student of the month as they recognized my hard work and ability to constantly focus and learn all of the new topics they were constantly teaching me, which i am again extremely proud of and grateful that my hard work was recognized. Following winning student of the month, i just recently won student of the year for IT by being able to constantly work hard and produce high-quality work with the ability of displaying what i have learnt with high standards, while also winning overall student of the year for riverside college which again, i was extremely grateful for and extremely proud of myself for winning. I have also been nominated for the Knowsly youth awards, which is on the 23rd of July which i have not attended yet but again, i couldnt express how grateful i was for being nominated by my IT teacher and by Riverside college and i am glad that the work i produce and the effort i put it in is being recognized.
