Support worker with over five years of experience helping individuals who are vulnerable in health, social care, and community settings. Caring and dedicated.
Understanding Person-centred care, personal care, dementia support, medication administration, making individuals safe and promoting independence while maintaining dignity and respect are all abilities that the person has gained. Skilled at getting along with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams, and driven to making things better and achieving results. I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Health, Wellbeing and Social Care at GBS Oxford Brookes University, which is adding to my work experience and helping me learn more about ethics, person-centred practice, and safety. I have an Enhanced DBS and a Care Certificate, and I'm passionately working towards my degree in Social Care for adults so that I can provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

I do have 6 months of volunteering experience in 2021 working with the public as a volunteer in local CAB, Widnes by providing general advice on welfare, housing, and immigration (OISC level 1 under
supervision). My daily tasks were handling client records: documentation, scanning
files, creating, monitoring, and updating cases on the system. My experience has been based on admin
tasks such as taking calls, negotiating on client's behalf, communicating
via emails and face-to-face advice at the local Citizens Advice Bureau.
