A highly motivated and ambitious individual with years of experience in remaining calm and working well in high pressure and environments and stressful situations. Well-versed in effective communication and utilisation of key skills such as innovative thinking and adaptability. Confident and posses a high level of situational judgement. Experienced in logistical management and the diverse inclusion of others, respecting the background and values of colleagues and understanding the benefit each individual brings.
Working within Air Operations at RNAS Yeovilton, I have aided the systematic running of the Airfield, ensuring that the logistical elements including visiting aircraft bookings, refuelling and flight planning ran smoothly. The role also requires the constant use of correct radio communication techniques with aircraft pilots and working as an air traffic assistant, assisting the ATOs with organised control of the airspace.
As a Warfare Specialist, my primary role was the use of sophisticated technology to prepare and protect the ship. This high pressure role developed my ability to remain calm and respond quickly to emerging situations, my ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others and taught me the value of staying professional at all times. Through several successful operational deployments, I have gained a valuable skillset to carry forward to my next role.
In the customer facing role, I developed my skills of respect and communication through working with a range of colleagues and customers from different backgrounds. I developed my ability to adapt my communication style to best suit my audience, sometimes allowing more time for customers, whilst also completing required tasks. Completing the daily tasks of restocking and cleaning allowed me to help in the smooth running of the business and when I had spare capacity, I helped train others.
