During my second year of college, from the 26th of June to the 9th of July, I got an amazing opportunity to work with The Pugin Society to design a plaque for the mural designs in Augustus Pugin's honour. This gave me the chance to use my graphical and creative skills. Remove personal pronoun quickly learnt and applied new skills to the commissioned piece, improving efficiency and productivity, making multiple drafts to help the client pick the right one with their personal feedback. I had a fun time, and it was one of my favourite work experiences.

From mid-November to the end of June, I created 3 posters for the music students and the last one for art at EKC Broadstairs for their gigs and the end-of-year show. Each took around 2 weeks to go from ideas to draft to finished, most of the time making multiple pieces. This taught me how to make and develop the idea set by the commissioner, add my own spin to it and produce a result that was then approved. Each poster I made got better as I understood how to use composition to the fullest and also got feedback from the commissioner and my peers at college.
Worked abroad in Lisbon from March 1st to 14th, collaborating with a team to create a booklet for Synopsis's website. Synopsis Practice was the company that provided job placements for students, but another pupil and I were paired to work for Synopsis on creating a booklet for their website. The booklet covered the company, the work experience it offers to colleges outside Portugal, the city’s history, and activities outside working hours. Had had a planned 11 am to 5 pm timetable. My work partner and I worked closely with the Assistant Manager to plan what to do each day. I used the app Canva, learning and mastering it to create a visually professional booklet. I was let off early when the Assistant Manager verified we had completed the work set out for that day. Learned professional practices and work-life management strategies, enabling consistent performance and prevention of burnout.
I developed a lot of social and discipline skills during my time in the Sea Scouts, ranging from sailing, cooking, physical activities and volunteering for charities.
