Representing Sky, my role was to visit customers in their homes and businesses, to install and service all Sky products to a high standard.

Trained in Working at Height Regulations, following Safe Systems Of Work.

Using various hand and power tools, installing satellite systems, running coax, phone and Cat 5/6 cable.

setting up Sky STB's, running network scans to ensure good mesh connection.

Also trained to replace and move BT NTE's, run phone extensions.

I have developed a good working knowledge and have good practical skills, and excellent customer service skills.

I engage with the customers and have a flexible approach to my work. I have to prioritize my work to meet the customers needs and sometimes have a creative approach.

I also have the responsibility of driving and maintaining a Company van, and need to arrive promptly at each job within an agreed eta, and have good local knowledge and map reading skills as I cover a large area.

Good knowledge in IT systems, using tablets and smart phones, Oracle routing system.

Due to Company restructuring, I was offered the chance to take voluntary redundancy, which I accepted as I was looking for a fresh start and to learn new skills in a new environment anyway.

Arrive early in the morning at the depot, sort, scan and load parcels, then deliver on an allocated route to both business and commercial addresses, upwards of 100 parcels a day, also receive collections to return to the depot

Buying and selling foreign currencies, working around the Country in different branches, dealing with customers face to face and on the telephone.
