Energetic and experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer with over 15 years of Experience in IT. Started my career in a local MSP where I worked with some high prestigious Companies and Firms across the UK. I then moved to an Accounting Firm so I could further progress my career. Been involved in the improvement of the IT Systems by assisting with a move to a Data Centre. I helped the company grow from a 700 to over 1000 users. I'm incredibly motivated and I'm never shy of finding new ways to improve systems and processes. Highly flexible and also have lots of experience in being someone that IT staff with a lower skill can come to for help.

This has been by far my most enjoyable role and the one that gives my greatest pride.

Since joining Francis Clark I have became a highly respectable person within the IT team. I'm always trying to improve the way that IT is being done at Francis Clark. My main jobs include:

  • Infrastructure support for the firm(Linux, Citrix, AWS, O365, Azure, EntraID)
  • Firewall Support
  • 2nd and 3rd line support
  • Patch Management across the whole estate
  • Acting as enabler by working with Shareholders and 3rd parties to improve business processes
  • Support our Service Desk and Development team
  • Designing systems that are fool proof with the business requirements
  • Assisting the Senior Security Engineer with any security work. This could be preventive or reactive.
  • Assisting the Infrastructure Lead in any work that is needed

Not only have I done great IT Engineer work I have also strived to bring improvements to Francis Clark. These are some highlights:

  • Automating user onboarding
  • Procure and deploy new Helpdesk system which now the whole firm uses for other departments(HR, Finance, Facilities)
  • Improve client experience by coming up with solutions and taking the initiative to improve various IT systems
  • Managing a smaller Systems Team with 2 Analysts and providing the necessary training so they can further assist the firm.

Worked with the Project Deployment team with a focus in Infrastructure and Cloud services. This included the following:

  • Virtualisation(VMware)
  • O365
  • On-Premise Infrastructure
  • UC(Teams and Skype)


My job coincided with supporting the project team in the deployment of highly impact pieces of work and to then supporting the Client moving forward. My work was chargeable so I made sure a high level of customer service was always a priority to the Client and the Shareholders. Part of my role was to also upskill the Service Desk which I always took pride in doing so as it allow me to then move on to much harder tasks so I could keep improving. Lots of time I would also have to work on pre sales work by listening to the Client needs and coming up with a robust solution that meets the requirements. My highlight of this role was to attend the UC Expo where I was part of the Nexus stand so we could bring in more customers and to also network with a lot of the UC suppliers and professionals that were in the same field as me.

This was my first job in an IT Environment following my move to the UK. I started by just logging emails and phone calls into our Service Desk system and dealing with the lower queries. I took great pride in this as I was very thankful to have been given the opportunity to work in the IT field as a person that only been in the UK for a few months. I made some great friends that helped me achieve my goals by supporting me in giving me some wonderful IT knowledge.
