My main duties involved serving customers in a polite and professional manner, ensuring their orders were completed accurately and quickly. I was also responsible for keeping shelves fully stocked with produce at all times and the work area clean and tidy. adhering to health and safety at also food and hygiene regulations. Duties also included using the till and taking cash and card payments. This was often a fast paced environment where accuracy and an attention to detail was completely essential.

While Working within a team I was involved in the packing and removal of household furniture and loading these on to a removal van, excellent communication was essential to ensure all items were lifted simultaneously and navigated from rooms to the van. This was a physically demanding and fast pacing job , also health and safety regulations had to be adhered to at all times. As a team we were working within tight time scales where accuracy and speed was required. In this job position I learned quickly and applied new skills to the daily tasks , improving efficiency and productivity. I demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help those required.

As a production operative I was involved in the sorting of items moving on a conveyor belt into the relevant boxes for them to be taken for recycling. My team and I were working at speed which required excellent hand to eye coordination and an attention to details to ensure the correct items were sorted into the correct boxes. I monitored quality control processes to ensure customer satisfaction. I was also responsible for cleaning and tidying of the full yard.

In this role I was working with a conveyor belt, where i worked as part of a team whilst also on my own. I was responsible for preparing boxes and placing the cakes in to them, which I ensured my area was clean, neat and tidy at all times providing health and safety. I was determined and learning new skills and challenges day to day which showed my commitment and effort.
