- I currently work as a Self Employed Consultant. My most recent & current client is Galliard Homes Ltd & Galliard Construction Ltd based at a site they own known as The Caravan & Motorhome Club based in East Grinstead.
- I have worked with this company for several decades through various self employed roles inspecting buildings and demolition sites, identifying areas of risk, contamination, cost implications and recycling opportunities.
- I am currently overseeing the installation of 366 new windows that I discovered were not fit for purpose. My role was to source the new windows at a competitive price, liaise with the manufacturers and now ensure all the work carried out is done so according to health and safety regulations whilst understanding the needs of the business and employees that continue to work in the building while the windows are being replaced.
- Current duties also involved in this role include;
- Managing multiple inspection assignments simultaneously, maintaining excellent organisation skills and arranging regular project updates with key staff on site.
- Ensuring sub contractors are working to a high standard, within set time frames and adhering to site regulations.
- Aiding in the resolution of complex technical issues identified during current installations and proactively solving any issues that arise.
- Representing my clients, Galliard Homes Ltd, in the best possible light, maintaining their reputation and demonstrating integrity with regards to the delicate nature of the installation affecting those working in the building.
