I have worked in the water industry for over 20 years, starting at Houseman, then onto Nalco before moving to Alchem. The company was taken over by HSL 4/5 years ago and that is where I am currently working. I have worked on various contracts over the years either on the hygiene or water treatment sides. In these roles I have carried out monthly monitoring, sampling, tank cleans and cooling tower cleans. The most recent contract that I worked on is Morrisons with that being the reason that I came to Alchem 12 years ago. I started by covering the water hygiene / tanks cleans on all the Morrisons sites in the North West and then also covering the RDC sites throughout the country (Bridgwater, Wakefield, Swan Valley, Sittingbourne, Stockton, Bellshill, Eurocentral, Gadbrook) where I have built good customer relations with my site contacts and management. In the last few years I ran the contract by helping management / planning work required on this contract. I have helped train various technicians over the years and are currently confined space trained myself. I am used to working by myself and also part of a team. I feel with my knowledge, experience and skills in the water industry I would be ideal for the position that City is offering. I am eager to face new challenges and gain further experience in the field.
