- I joined the Air Cadets in 2016 at 396 Paisley Squadron, where I took part in a wide range of activities, including flying, shooting, marching, backpacking, and charity fundraising. I achieved several qualifications and badges, including Heart Start, Bronze Cyber Course, and Senior Cadet, and progressed to the rank of Corporal, later serving as a non-Junior Commissioned Officer in the RAFAC. In these roles, I led classes and drills, taught aviation fundamentals, and developed strong leadership and communication skills. My time in the Air Cadets instilled discipline, teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.

ABOUT ME
- I'm a BSc Hons 2:1 Aircraft Engineering graduate from the University of the West of Scotland, deeply passionate about aviation. My studies have given me a strong foundation in aircraft systems and engineering, I have a wide range of interests and perusing things I love such as aviation, I am equally passionate about motorcycles, appreciating the thrill, hanging out with my friends and going to the gym. I have deep love for traveling and another big part of my life, I had an amazing summer visiting five different countries, including Canada and parts of Asia, where I experienced incredible cultures and created lasting memories. Next on my travel list is South America, which I’m already excited to explore. I thrive on challenges, whether academic, professional, or personal, and I am always eager to learn, grow, and embrace new opportunities.

- Key areas of study included aircraft performance, systems integration, thermodynamics, structures, and propulsion, providing me with a well-rounded understanding of how aircraft operate as complete systems. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical coursework, I developed the ability to analyse aircraft behaviour, understand system interactions, and appreciate how engineering decisions impact performance, safety, and efficiency in real operational environments.
- My final-year dissertation, “The Investigation of Tubercle Configuration on Wind Turbines,” involved CAD modelling in SolidWorks, 3D printing of test models, CFD and FEA analysis, and experimental wind-tunnel testing. This project developed my ability to plan and conduct experiments and interpret complex data, It also demonstrated my ability to quickly learn advanced engineering software and work independently on a technically demanding project.
- Throughout my studies, I worked on team-based engineering projects and practical coursework, including a model aircraft design and build project, which enhanced my communication, time management, and teamwork skills. Balancing technical requirements strengthened my ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with others.
