I've had several, quite different, jobs since leaving college, and feel this has given me a rounded view of working in the modern workplace .
At Abelands House I work with individuals with diverse needs, helping them be more independent in their day to day lives, tailoring support to meet personalised care plans and needs.
Whilst working at Stonepillow, I was in charge of maintaining a clean, safe appealing shop. This would include updating the shop window displays, organising the shop floor, both downstairs and up, and roating stock, maintaning tidy shelves.
I would also complete opening and closing duties such as cashing up and locking up the shop at the e nd of each day.
I worked as part for a team making chimney cowls.
My role consisted of many tasks, including working on the production line and spraying the cowls with paint before they entered the oven, the cowls would be appropriately. Once removed form the oven the cowls would be labelled and boxed ready for sale. I also used the machinery to make different parts of the cowls and assembling them.
I believe I communicate well with both the customers and colleagues, and strive to maintain a positive, professional attitude, remaining calm under pressure and paying attention to detail I am happy to work independently or with my colleagues, managing my time efficiently
