Summary

I am , bi-lingual, dedicated and empathetic pluralistic counsellor, qualified at Level 5 Psychotherapy Counselling, aspiring to work in a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) trainee role. I have a strong educational background in counselling and hands-on experience in mental health support roles. I am committed to developing therapeutic skills to help individuals achieve their mental health goals. Whilst continuing professional development in CBT techniques, I am seeking to contribute to a dynamic clinical team.

My present role is as a highly qualified, Senior Analyst with over 10 years’ experience in the investment banking sector. As well as my day-to-day role in my current employment, I am also the co-chair of Heart, which is a committee that supports employees’ mental health as well as general well-being.

During this time, I have developed extensive transferable skills such as the ability to analyse complex information and communicate it effectively, both of which are skills that are essential in a counselling setting. I have a proven track record of building strong client relationships and managing sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and ethical consideration. I am excited to bring these skills to a counselling role, where I can make a meaningful impact on individuals’ lives.

In recent years I have been rated as ‘Exceeding expectations’ on my annual performance review, something which is attained by only 15% of 54,000 employees at my current employer.
