Healthcare Worker

Key 2 Care ltd – Maple West Independent Support Living Accommodation
2023.06 - 2024.01
  • Working in a supported accommodation was something I didn’t have experience within, although it didn’t take me long before I had improved my experience and gotten use to my daily schedule. Always when working in care I have provided a high quality of care given to all clients and maintained confidentially and privacy, dignity towards all who receive my care. Maintaining politeness and patience with those who struggle to cope, everyday is a challenge working in care.

Community Care Worker

AR1 HomeCare
2023.01 - 2023.06
  • Working as a community carer not every day would be the same, individually or in a pair we would visit people in their own homes to help them live their lives as independently as possible and ensuring they are happy and healthy during this. Many duties preformed were from prepping, cooking meals, administering medication and helping with food shopping. Supporting and encouraging people to manage their own domestic responsibilities but giving them a helping hand if needs be. Some clients may have personal care given with consent.

Café Member – Assistant Manager

Spill The Beans Café
2020.01 - 2023.01
  • During my time at the Café I had widened my knowledge on how to manage a work place and work in a team whilst under pressure. This had a really good impact on my confidence, I was picking up over time and creating events outside my work hours as I was committed to working. Later on it all paid off, I got promoted to Assistant manager. Many duties included cash handling, setting goals and tasks, developing budgets within the business, stock ordering, online promotion, online and public events, discussing and organising as a team and just the little things too like serving customers with a smile, giving out menus and informing customers of our offers and sales.

Sales Assistant

WHSmith Royal Stoke Hospital
2018.12 - 2019.05
  • Working at WHSmith, I had a range of tasks to complete on a day to day basis, which would vary from date checkin our stock, ensuring we’ve got back stock, cleaning areas that need a freshen up, dealing with customers face to face and via telephone and til handling. Being based in the hospital, not every day was the same, working here I’ve took away a lot of skills and knowing how to handle situations in a work place.

Team Volunteer

Staffordshire Youth Commission
2017.11 - 2018.12
  • Whilst volunteering at Staffordshire Youth Commission we had open discussions in our groups about how we could keep youths in the area out of crime. We came up with ideas and made them happen such as our movie nights, youth clubs, sports days and many more which helped to keep the younger generation engaged and focusing on something they actually enjoy doing. During my short time here I learned so many new things I never knew before, increasing my confidence and expanding my abilities.
