• Performing diagnostic lung function tests on patients
• Instructing medical students in the intricacies of conducting and interpreting lung function tests.
• Aided physicians in procedures such as pleural and bronchoscopy, while also contributing to clinic management through appointment scheduling.
• Education and Demonstration to patients about how to use their inhalers
• Set up sleep studies for patients and explained how we would record their breathing while they are sleeping

An 18-month program where I worked in different clinical areas including Respiratory Medicine, Liver Histopathology, and Critical Care. In this program, I was able to gain skills of:

• Collaborating with colleagues and providing care for patients
• Conducting diagnostic assessments, maintaining equipment, performing lung function tests, executing basic maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed
• Assisting histopathologists with surgical dissection of patient tissue
• Assisting lab scientists in reagent management, filing/retrieving sides and tissue blocks.
