

Ambitious Clinical Respiratory Physiologist with 18 years experience in Respiratory and Sleep diagnostics and therapeutics.
Currently leading on an Early Respiratory Diagnostic Project in Primary care.
Highly motivated to drive change at system level to create exemplar models of respiratory care delivery.
Eager to build on leadership skills and collaborate with like minded professionals.
Currently the first respiratory physiologist employed in Primary care in NI, delivering an innovative advanced lung function testing service in local GP practices.
Perform advanced lung function testing in primary care as well as to upskill and mentor nurses and practice based pharmacists in basic spirometry.
Currently collaborating with several key stakeholders to create an exemplar one stop respiratory hub as part of the Dept of Health new Neighbourhood Model of care.
Currently teach on an accredited Spirometry course for practice based nurses and pharmacists. I am also an associate lecturer for Queens University and have previously taught on both the Healthcare Science undergraduate course at Ulster University and the post grad respiratory nursing course. This is occasional and sessional work.
Currently undertake occasional locum work in Dublin.
This is to remained skilled in advanced lung function testing that I currently dont have exposure to in my current role.
