Connor Twomey

I am a recent Computer Science graduate from Cardiff University, with a particular interest in data analytics and working with database systems. Throughout my studies I have most enjoyed projects that required working amongst a team, so I am looking for a role with particular focus on collaboration.

 For my final project I chose to produce a web service that would display positive news articles, with the goal of combating the abundance of clickbait and negatively focussed news services. Articles were retrieved with use of an AI API and subsequently categorized with sentiment analysis.

 Throughout my second and third year, I helped work on a business idea with one of my coursemates. We wanted to produce a service similar to Revolut, with a particular focus on students. My contributions so far include producing wireframes, brainstorming features and exploring business strategies.
