  • During some of my free study periods at Michael Hall school I was invited to help out with class 1 outdoor lessons and class 3 gym lessons
  • This was a great experience as it gave me the opportunity to work with kids
  • I met a few characters which inspired me to, in the future, help/mentor young children
  • The teacher encouraged me to engage as much as possible with planning and teaching the lessons
  • 3 years in a row (2022-24) I have also helped out with class 5 Olympics which is an event Michael Hall host, Steiner Schools from all over come and camp for several nights
  • For a few days I worked with lots of teachers from different schools training the young athletes
  • I also helped out during the weekend when the main event takes place, hundreds of parents show up to watch their children

  • Although this was not paid work I was invited to work with there team, which involved constructing the big top circus tents which was very physical work
  • They also asked me to work during their shows to help things run smoothly, I was in charge of safety checking the tents and I was also asked to work in their buffet tent making and selling crepes, fruit smoothies, ice cream and popcorn during the show
  • Which also held responsibility as that's when we were encountering members of the public
  • After forming such a connection with the people and bonding over our great team work, they made the joke of me continuing with them on tour. which was seriously taken into consideration. We looked into the possibility of meeting them in wales, where they were going next, then there was a consideration to also go to spain. One way or another life got in the way and this didn't work out in the end. (However i still have it in mind that i will see them again one day)
