Initially worked in the community with children with developmental speech and language delay/disorder. In 2006 I began a Specialist post working with children with dysfluency. In recent years my job description was reevaluated and I was promoted to Highly Specialist Speech and Language working with children with dysfluency. In 2021 I took a career break due to family commitments and to pursue further study.
Worked as a Band 5 Therapist for Homefirst HSST with Adults with Learning Disability and Stroke/Voice inpatients and outpatients at Whiteabbey Hospital.
