Policing career spanning 30 years up to retirement in September 2024.

Specialised in Roads Policing, Firearms, Driver & Rider training.

Held the position of National Coordinator for the Police BikeSafe scheme from January 2021 until retirement.

Alongside operational role, responsible for delivering all aspects of driver training including advanced driving, advanced motorcycling and various specialist skills since 2004.

Whilst working as an Authorised Firearms Officer was qualified as an Operation Firearms Commander leading a team of specialist officers.

As a VIP escort motorcyclist was deployed on a number of high profile deployments including the Olympics, Funeral of Queen Elizabeth and Coronation of King Charles.

As a VIP protection driver, have been responsible for driving members of the Royal Family when visiting Northamptonshire as part of the protection detail.

Qualified as Police Licenced Search Officer which allowed be to be deployed on Counter terrorism searches both locally and Nationally including the G8 summit in Northern Ireland.

Part time employment managing small fleet of trucks subject to Operators Licence regulations.

Employed to develop and transform working practices following a Public enquiry which put the company operators Licence at risk.

This has been achieved and company is now operating as 'Green' operator.

Embarked on Trainee Management programme as school leaver at Mercedes Benz main dealer. Exposed to all areas of dealership but in particular new & used car sales and car service reception.

Remained in post until I left to join the Police.
