My very first job at 16 years old was caring for elderly reps residents
all aspects of care was learnt from bathing dressing feeding
I knew then that's what I wanted to do .
my second job was at Cherry Garth Residential and nursing home .
my duties were looking after elderly residents
I was there for 2 years And loved every aspect of care
if I could make someone smile one day it was all worth while .
After a few part working and having my son
I went back to Cherry Garth for another 5 years .
I worked at Rayners in Hyde Heath for a few years
where I learnt a lot of aspects of care had changed .
I left as I didn't have any transport .
I worked in Ashlyns care home where I did training for fire safety

in between jobs I worked part time in evenings hubby looked after children .
I moved to Aylesbury in 2015 where I worked for Westgate Healthcare where I worked shifts .
loved all aspects of the job from seeing the residents faces in the mornings .
i used to make people smile and if I made a difference that day to 1 resident it was all worth while .
I was there only a 1 year as my husband started his business as a milkman .
And needed me to work with him we delivered customers there milk and goods on there doorsteps .
whatever the weather if our customers were happy that's all that matters .
I worked for 8 years theni was made redundant last month . So this is why I want to work back in Care .
my children and grandchildren have grown up now so there is nothing stopping me
