- Optimising reception-led appointment booking under the 2025 GP contract. This quality improvement activity involved developing and implementing a structure for the reception team to help with appointment booking based on changes to the GP contract in October 2025 which aimed to create clearer triage processes and ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate level of care at first contact.
- Presented to junior doctors during change over week at Alvaston Medical Center on filling bloods on systmOne, in order to reduce the administrative workload for the reception team and also to ensure patient safety is prioritised by dealing with tasks in a timely manner.
