- Maintain day-to-day office operations, including handling a high volume of calls, greeting visitors, and maintaining organised filing systems.
- Manage customer enquiries by logging requests onto ERP systems.
- Support the preparation of quotations and technical drawings, and provide timely updates to customers.
- Proactively follow up on quotations, increasing conversion rates by addressing customer queries or concerns.
- Support the sales order process by printing and reviewing orders, ensuring pricing etc. is correct before processing.
- Occasionally, process sales orders and issue acknowledgements.
- Independently manage all purchasing activities.
- Support finance by reconciling delivery notes to invoices.
- Assist production by creating works orders to support operational workflow.
- Support despatch by arranging shipments and providing customers with tracking information and delivery updates.
- Conduct monthly stock takes, and independently introduced a weekly critical stock take.
- Support business-wide projects, including contributing to the development of a new company website.
- Manage website administration, including approving registrations and processing online orders.
