Chief Scouts Bronze, silver and Gold awards with the Romford District scout group

Past experiences

I volunteered at Parklands to go towards my chief scout award which required a few more badges. I helped as an extra staff member at the after-school club which was understaffed to look after 30-40 children every afternoon. I would help in setting up the indoor area (move benches and place toys) and listening to the other staff members on what to do for the day.I have also been a member of my local explorer's group (Unit X). Whilst being there, I have attended multiple fundraising and charity events with the explorers and raising money for homeless shelters and food banks. We have aided these charities during Christmas time by selling Christmas cookies and Christmas cards made by the members ourselves as well as singing songs around collier row. Doing these activities as well as others has helped me get awarded with the Chief scouts' bronze, silver, and gold awards over my eight years attendance in scouting
