Boston Park Service Reservoir, Delivery Contract (£6M)- Project leader of a new 10ML service reservoir and a pumping station
- Responsible for detailed design, hydraulic and structural calculations including temporary works, ground investigation, programme and costs
- Liaised with subcontractors for the reinforced concrete pre-cast units and checking calculations
- Handled workshops and meetings with clients and local authorities and undertaking inspections on site.
Sneaton Castle Service Reservoir, Delivery Contract (£3.5M)- Project leader of the demolition of the existing reservoir and the construction of a new 6ML service reservoir
- Responsible for the design, hydraulic and structural calculations, temporary works, checking structural design of pre-cast reinforced concrete units from sub-contractor and advice on changes and on concrete specification, producing design programme and costs
- Handled meetings with the client and the local authorities
Investigations of Impounded reservoirs (£704k)- Involved at the investigation of Riding Wood (£227k) and Digley (£477k) Impounded reservoirs
- Worked on new innovative techniques of temperature probes to investigate the settlement of the dams and suggest solutions
- Responsible to collect the data of the system and translate it using calculations, tables, and graphs on excel
- With the support of the geotechnical engineer, led the ground investigation works which included deep samples and CPT tests.
Working at Height (WaH) Investigation Contracts AMP6 (£420k)- Working for Investigation Contracts for W@H hazards in various sites around Yorkshire
- Produced and submitted early contractor’s involvement (ECI) reports for 686 sites including sewerage pumping stations, sewerage treatment works, water treatment works etc
- Responsible for production of tables for all the types of surveys on W@H Portal, according to Yorkshire Water Asset Standards and British Specifications.
Working at Height (WaH) Delivery Contracts AMP6 (£1.1M) - Parallel to the Investigation contracts, also working for W@H Delivery Contracts-11 sites
- Responsibilities included carrying out site visits to various sites with sub-contractors to agree on the scope of works and design of the civil works involved
- The detailed design process included holding design acceptance meetings with Yorkshire Water, production of designs and temporary works, checking of designs produced by sub-contractors and handing the design packs to site agents for delivery of the proposed works on site.
Hazard Resolution Programme for Yorkshire Water (YW) AMP5 (£2.5M) – Involved in the Hazard Resolution programme for Yorkshire Water and acted as a Project Leader on the ‘Yr5 Hazards’ (NQ01), ‘Known Hazards’ (M406) and ‘Working at Height’ (M413) schemes for the Delivery Contracts
- Produced calculations for Temporary Works, Health and Safety files, Carbon Data calculations and completion documents
- Responsibilities also included holding design acceptance meetings with NEC Project Managers and checking designs produced by sub-contractors.
- Prepared precise budget estimates for each project phase, aiding financial planning.
