I primarily worked on large events such as weddings, work conferences and parties, serving large numbers of people. My role included:

• Warmly greeting guests and serving drinks upon arrival.
• Setting up tables ahead of events by preparing silverware for guests
• Assisting customers with menu selection, offering knowledge of the specials and recommended wine pairings.
• Maintaining bar stocks, replenishing daily as necessary.
• Regularly attending to tables to ensure orders were received correctly and met customer's expectations
• Kept tables tidy by regularly clearing away dirty dishes and used glasses
• Polishing cutlery
• Informing kitchen staff of orders and any dietary requirements
• Performing bar closing duties

I have been working as an usher, access host and have been serving at the kiosk. My role includes:

• Operating a till to process transactions
• Assisting customers with product selections
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kiosk area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
• Restocking bar efficiently to maintain optimal inventory levels and product availability.
• Assisting patrons with special access requirements
• Utilising stock management systems to track products and restocking processes.
• Assisting guests in finding their seats and ensuring a smooth entry process.
• Monitoring crowd behaviour to maintain safety and provide a positive experience.
• Providing information about show timings and theatre policies to patrons.

I volunteered as a steward for large events at the Hay Festival. The events that I worked on ranged from talks to concerts.

My role included:

- Escorting attendees to seats

- Scanning tickets

- Helping with access requirements

- Managing queues and latecomers

- Observing the audience during an event

- Offering microphones to audience members during question and answer sessions

- Picking up litter after events

I worked as a hostess in a VIP box at Twickenham Stadium. I was required to:

• Assisted in setting up venues by arranging seating and decorations according to event specifications.
• Welcomed guests with professionalism and provided information about event schedules.
• Served beverages promptly to manage high-volume service periods efficiently.

I volunteered in a school in Africa and taught English, Maths and Science to a class of 5 and 6 year olds. The school was in a low-income area and had very little access to materials so I had to be resourceful and find innovative ways to teach and keep the children engaged without books or technology aids. I had to adapt to a totally different culture and work through language barriers. Above all, the trip really improved my communication skills and I loved interacting with locals on a daily basis.

My role included:

• Planning and delivering lessons
• Helping children with learning disabilities
• Marking books and setting homework

I worked as a professional contemporary dancer for choreographer Akram Khan. I also acted as an extra in the feature film. I’m a confident performer and used to dancing for large audiences.
