I worked as a hostess in a VIP box at Twickenham Stadium. I was required to:
I volunteered in a school in Africa and taught English, Maths and Science to a class of 5 and 6 year olds. The school was in a low-income area and had very little access to materials so I had to be resourceful and find innovative ways to teach and keep the children engaged without books or technology aids. I had to adapt to a totally different culture and work through language barriers. Above all, the trip really improved my communication skills and I loved interacting with locals on a daily basis.
My role included:
I worked as a professional contemporary dancer for choreographer Akram Khan. I also acted as an extra in the feature film. I’m a confident performer and used to dancing for large audiences.
