During this time covid hit and and it was decided that exams would be online, we had to trial it and find a way that worked and all the forces had to be trained on the AIMs system and allocating and verifying candidates onto the exam platform, there was lots of teething problems which were ironed out along the way. We ran 4 NIE exams a year and also 2 NPPF sergeants exam and 2 NPPF Inspectors exams which was an increase as we only used to do 1 NPPF Sergeants & NPPF Inspectors exam per year, so this was increase in workload but the forces were very happy about he outcome of online exams.
