I worked as a night shift worker testing Rapid Covid samples requiring urgent results for patients and the community. This was a very demanding and rewarding role working along multidisciplinary teams ensuring a fast and efficient service. Involving strict quality control procedures for reliable test results.

Maintained a safe and clean environment for residents and staff strictly following infection control policies. Washed, ironed and folded laundry for residents. Working proactively by identifying ever changing housekeeping needs to provide reliable and attentive service.

I worked on a variety of wards during this time, ensuring the same care and standards were upheld. Managed personal hygiene of patients maintaining dignity and respect. At times handled challenging behaviour from patients effectively with support and compassion.

This position involved working alone visiting clients in their homes to provide personal care, administering medications and preparing meals. Communicated regular feedback with main office and family members. Delivered compassionate individual care.

The flexibility of being an bank worker helped me gain new skills and challenges while on different wards.
