Joedan is a family-run business with multiple design centres across the Midlands and Southern England. During my time working for Joedan, I have achieved my PLASMA mobile scaffold qualification. I have been able to further develop skills learned at RPBaker Windows and Doors, as well as acquire new skills through the varied duties and responsibilities I take on, including;

• Starting to lead some installations.
• Removing old windows carefully to avoid damage to property structure, maintained professional integrity at all times.
• Installing windows and doors.
• One-filled windows and doors.
• Cut and re-laid bricks.
• Rendered in windows and doors.

RPBaker Windows and Doors is a small family-run business. I worked for them for almost two years and trained under several FENSA qualified fitters. During my time working for them I gained my CSCS Health and Safety Card qualification. I have acquired various skills and valuable experience from the duties and responsibilities I have take on, these include;

• Achieved timely project completion with efficient assistance to lead fitter.
• Followed health and safety regulations, promoted safe working environment.
• Cutting and levelling chills.
• Glazing windows and UPVC doors.
• Replacing damaged units, locks and hinges.
• Cutting and applying add-ons.
• Trimming inside and out of windows And doors.
• Sealing windows and doors
• Assisted in construction of both warm an d wooden roofs.
• Taking apart conservatories
• Assisted in fitting aluminium doors.
• Assisted in fitting bi-folds, lanterns, sky lights, UPVC windows and doors and composite doors.

• Installing oil tanks
• Explaining the rules and regulations to customers during quotes for potential new work
• Constructing a level and secure base using concrete stress lintels and slabs
• Cutting up old oil tanks taken away from jobs with an electric repetitive saw ready for recycling
• Digging trenches for new oil lines
• Fitting and securing new oil lines
• Removing water from tanks
• Creating cement using a mixer
• Keeping up with stock and supplies at the yard
• Dismantling and removing old bases
• Alpha Tanks is a small, independent company with only two other members of staff in the team.

• Duties- same as below

• Clearing work areas by removing rubbish and debris
• Ensuring that all tools and equipment are readily available at the beginning of each shift
• Arranging for materials such as bricks, mortar and cement to be available at assigned worksites
• Loading and unloading materials to and from delivery trucks
• Loading and unloading structure materials and move materials around the work area
• Using and maintaining a variety of tools and equipment
• Mixing, transferring and extending materials such as concrete
• Performing other duties as assigned by manager

• Greeted customers as they arrived and showed them to their table
• Gave out menus and took orders for food and drink
• Served food and drinks
• Dealt with bill payments
• Ensured tables were clean and tidy and kept the bar clean and well stocked
• Used a till to take orders and payments and handled cash

• Collected and washed pots, pans, plates and cutlery
• Ensured pots, pans, plates and cutlery were back into use quickly
• Washed and disinfected kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Ensured the kitchen equipment was properly stored
• Removed and recycled waste from the kitchen
