Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisted skilled mechanical fitters with the installation, maintenance, inspection and overhaul of gas turbine equipment in accordance with Siemens Energy procedures and quality standards.

• Carried out mechanical fitting activities including assembly, disassembly and replacement of turbine components during scheduled maintenance programmes.

• Supported major outage and shutdown projects, helping ensure critical maintenance work was completed safely, efficiently and within strict project deadlines.

• Worked from engineering drawings, technical specifications and maintenance procedures to support the successful completion of mechanical work scopes.

• Assisted with mechanical assemblies, component inspections, bolt tensioning activities and general maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced fitters.
