Extra curricular activities

  • Scouting (~11 years)

Making my way up through the stages of being a scout – joining beavers at the age of 7 and finishing explorers at 18, developing numerous life skills such as survival techniques and first aid procedures.

  • Martial Arts (~5 years)

Learning the importance of self-discipline and developing my attention to detail via weekly sessions.

  • Football (~9 years)

Working in a team and utilising strategy and consistent training in order to progress in a Sunday-league.

Hobbies and Interests

  • 3D Printing

Utilising publicly available files, or fabricating my own via CAD software such as Solidworks and Onshape, in which to manufacture models varying in size, shape, and colour. My favourite subcategory of models would have to be mechanical joints and hinges due to their simplicity in theory, but captivating visual complexity when brought together. I also enjoy exploring the quirks and advantages of different materials, including TPU and Silk PLA.

  • Robotics

Inspired by watching combat robotics tournaments when I was younger, I have recently began designing my own RC platforms - sourcing components online and repurposing scrap materials, or 3D printing more complex geometries, in which to create a moving system.
