Work as a waiter in various functions for mostly weddings and charity events. Since the start of this year (2024), the position also requires from me the special attention to dietary requirements at any given event. My job then is to catalogue the list of guests with dietary restrictions; order it in terms of service sequence ie. which table/guest is to be served at what time; be in communication with the chefs regarding the choice of menu for every guest with a special requirement and/or any change on the initial list and, finally, be in communication with the specific waiting staff that's serving the diets.
My job as a bartender for this company varies with each event, since the demands change. But it usually consists of setting up and organizing the bar space; preparing the drinks and garnishes for future use; creating cocktails, mocktails, softs and spirits.
Asia House is a space which rents its rooms for conferences, private events, weddings, etc. My role as a receptionists consisted of answering phone calls, keeping an inventory of the material needed for the events as well as ordering whatever was needed; assisting the staff with the setting up of rented rooms.
