Duties: Working in a residential care home which has 20 full time beds catering for patients with Dementia, providing exceptional care reflecting their individual needs. Providing personal care in an empathetic manner to ensure patient dignity at all times. Responsible for updating care plans and liaising with medical staff to ensure quality of service.

Duties: Blood pressure, checking blood glucose, heart rate pulse, temperature, vital signs and respiratory rate. I have the experience of assisting residents with their daily living activities such as giving personal care, washing assisting with dressing, bed making and assisting residents with meals/feeding.

Worked closely under supervision from registered nurses contributing to efficient workflow within the facility.

Duties: Working for both agencies as Bank staff in a range of settings including hospitals and residential homes. Available at short notice to cover emergency shifts. Able to build relationships with staff and patients quickly to ensure all service needs and individual requirements are met. Able to do personal care and more senior care including observation and medication in line with Care Plan needs.

Provided emotional support to patients, improving their mental well being. Ensured a safe environment by maintaining orderliness and cleanliness in the facility.
