Experienced HGV Class 1 and 2 Driver with 10 years experience that wanted to help the transport industry even more. Became Transport Manager and Driver Trainer to share and help other with the knowledge and the experience that I learned in the past 10 years.
Started my own Driver CPC Centre to conduct CPC training
After so many years in the transport industry, I decided to apply for Transport Manager CPC.
I have managed externally 7 transport companies looking after the compliance, Drivers, inspections, Audits and desk based assessments.
Due to buying a house in Aylesbury, I choose to leave the full time job at Waitrose and start again as an agency driver.
In the past years, I have worked only as a HGV Class 1 Driver for:
Arla/Muller with milk deliveries to stores or depots - Fridge Trailers
Superdrug delivering for main street stores Superdrug and Savers - Box Trailers, one, two or three axles and some rear steer axles, depot to depot double decker box trailers.
Gist delivering to M&S stores - fridge trailers all sizes again plus rigid with draw bar trailer.
After a few years working for the agency, a night shift became available, and I applied for the full time job as a HGV Class 1 Driver for Waitrose from Bracknell. I did the same job as when I was an agency driver. In the summer of 2019, I had Shunter training and I started doing shifts on nights moving trailers around the yard. On a 8 hours shift I was moving around 100-150 trailers.
I have work for companies like Cormar Carpets delivering carpets to carpets stores in London. I drove a 18 tonnes lorry in London for almost a year for them on the week days and every other weekend worked for Morrisons/Sainsburys delivering to the stores. After that, I worked for Serco, the bin collection service in High Wycombe area for 6-9 months.
On 2016, I decided to get the C+E. I started working for an agency doing curtain side work for GEODIS single and double decker trailers. after some experience gained, I moved to another agency that offered me a job on Waitrose, in Bracknell, delivering to Waitrose stores around south and southwest of England all the way to Truro. I used single and double decker fridge trailers. Single decker trailers with one, two, and three axles and some of them with rear steer axles.
