Bismillah Sher Alam

Peterborough,Cambridgeshire

Summary

Inquisitive. Self-motivated. Astute. I am currently studying LLB law, and am graduating in April 2025. My grade at this moment in time is 76%, though I am targeted, and am aiming for 80% and above. I thrive in challenges, and value being in the deep end, as a fresh soon-to-be graduate, and I believe there is no better mindset to have in the field of Law; the great Lord Denning did once state that 'the law never stands still. It goes on apace. You have to run fast to keep up with it'. I take these words literally- I cannot wait to work alongside all the new competitors, and I hope to learn from the best, to be the best. My hope to begin a career in Law is driven by my holistic interest in our country's legal system and desire to work in soliciting firms that offer services in a range of different areas of law. I am looking to further broaden my knowledge and skills in the field of law, and fully utilise my analytical, critical and lateral-thinking skills as a paralegal. In Law Clinics, I have had the opportunity to exude my communication skills, and have been a part of building long-standing relationships with clients wishing to use our services. I have shown loyalty towards the companies I have worked for, encompassing their values and ethos and always evidencing that I am a dedicated and proactive team player.
