I am Ben, a 22 year old ambitious sailor from the Isle of Wight. I have always had a keen interest in sailing starting in dinghies from a young age, which soon developed into a job working in the marine industry at a local harbour where the sailing club was based. This allowed myself to work doing passion every day. I am motivated, trustworthy and a reliable person. During the years spent in the industry, I have developed many skills required to help run and maintain vessels, whilst being responsible for over 1000 seagoing sailors in my early twenties. The personal aim is to have a long-term career in the marine industry, further any training and pass on skills to others. I am motivated, energetic and open to new, different and difficult challenges; placing myself in positions that both test and educate me for growth.
