I have 9 years experience as a sailor and have learnt everything from basic sailing skills in a dingy to sailing keel boats and tall ships. I also have experience of driving safety boats and have my power boat qualification
I am very passionate about what I do, and look forward to passing on my skills
I also have skills in rigging dingys and keel boats and general maintenance
i am also a very competent swimmer in open water and feel these skills as well as my experience are perfect for working with in the industry.

I began working at hunters this summer, I take customers out on keel boats , Rebels , white boats and waveneys
Sometimes these are school children on their first trip out on the water the main aim is to get them to join in taking the helm or moving the sails etc just getting them confident on the water
I also take out more experienced sailors who just come along to enjoy the Norfolk broads I usually rig the boats and go along to assist in the sailing.
I have also recently on my days off from college gone along voluntary to assistant coach the 1st year students from Easton college on the outdoor leadership course teaching them from their first trips out on keel boats to becoming competent sailors

Youth training scheme
Sometimes we make rafts from scratch with wood , Barrels , and rope we then race the rafts against each other maybe have water fights and just get the children to have fun and grow in confidence on the water
I do hands on experience with them and am out on the water in the safety boat making sure nobody gets into trouble .

I teach children aged from 8-17 how to sail dingys starting in opies progressing thru Terras , fevas,Toppers, splash and lasers.

I did preparation work and painting of the hull

- I have a 9 year history of sailing and have a lot of experience sailing dingys and keel boats over that time I have owned a topper , splash and laser and also own and sail a production cruiser
- I have taught sailing to children from the age of 7 -18 for the last 3 years enabling them to gain their RYA qualifications
- I have sailed in a yeoman and a white boat over the last 2 years in the 3 rivers race the 1st year coming 32nd out of over 100 boats with a 4 man crew 3 of us only 16 and an 18 year old on helm we were the youngest team that year the following year I was in a yeoman with a different 3 man crew and we came 2nd overall and was the first yeoman back again over 100 boats entered the 24 hour endurance race on the Norfolk broads
- I have a lot of experience dealing with younger sailors and paddle boarders regularly sailing and paddleboarding at both Horning Sailing Club and winter sailing with snowflakes at Norfolk broads yacht club in wroxham
