  • I worked on the SBEG site with the Southbank Patrol Team through Corps Security. The Southbank Patrol works to reduce and deter crime, eliminate unlicensed street trading and tackle anti-social behaviour. Corps Security liaise with private security teams, police and other agencies throughout the area via email/phone/radio. My responsibilities were:
  • Patrolling the area.
  • Taking homeless people’s details and working with the Safer Streets Team to help the homeless get off the streets.
  • Daily report writing.
  • Training new starters, ensuring they have a good knowledge and feel comfortable before going on patrol.
  • Writing seizure receipts to people who illegally trade without a license on behalf of Lambeth Council.
  • Attending court hearings.
  • Writing statements for the police about any incidents.
  • Writing ASBO applications.
  • During my time here I also became accredited to the Community Service Accreditation Scheme (CSAS), which allows me to utilise designated police powers such as seizure of alcohol and illegal goods and dealing with low level crime.

  • Arranging transport for employees of Hello! and celebrities.
  • Organising bookings over the phone and through email, for photo shoots.

  • Organising post and giving it to the appropriate people, to ensure that this was successful, I developed a great working relationship with the Facilities Manager.
