I started working part-time 2 days a week, 5 day weeks once I passed my 2nd year of college in June 2025

Throughout my time I have learned to safely and precisely use power tools (eg. Concrete Breaker, Jigsaw, Circular Saw, Reciprocating Saw, Masonry Drill, Multi-Tool, Angle Grinder)

Examples of tasks I've took part in:

- Plaster Boarding

- Preparing walls for skimming by carefully removing left-over wallpaper and any other unwanted excess then applying PVA coats.

- Helped make sand & cement mixes, hardwall and skim too and carried

flexi-buckets of it to the trades-men's working area.

- Ensuring the site was clean and well-organised during the course of the day and by the end so the skilled trades-men on site always had a tidy work area to avoid trip/slip hazards.

- Packing the skip or bins in a neat and aware manner to ensure we are removing waste in the most quick and cost effective way, also cutting larger pieces of waste down to avoid gaps and save space.

- Keeping all power tool batteries charged and bringing the tools to workers area on site in prep or upon request.

- Assisted in any tasks which require an extra hand (eg. holding ceiling joists in place while being screwed in).

-Cleaning tools at the end of the day and checking them before use to ensure they are in working condition

Offloading heavy material from delivery trucks and quickly into its designated area (eg. bricks, concrete blocks, sand or cement bags/any mix bags, plasterboard, lead, roof/bathroom tiles
