I started the role as a leasing consultant and quickly gained new business from a previous role within the industry (Nationwide Vehicle Contracts) as a trusted and professional leasing consultant, I was made a director so we could concentrate on pushing the business forward.
Within a short space of time I introduced a "processing fee" of £300 per transaction which helped with the cash flow of the business, this enabled Britannia to expand our marketing capabilities and soon partnered with leasing.com, this partnership saw immediate growth in new leads and ultimately new and recurring business.
We have grown from a team of 3 to 15, 10 leasing consultants, 1 pricing manager, 1 marketing manages and 3 administration staff.
The steady growth has enabled Britannia to ensure a first class service from point of initial enquiry through to delivery.
As a broker, we had to expand our capabilities and market presence by attracting the leading leasing finance companies such as LEX, Arval, Novuna and Santander which partnered with our already strong relationships we had with all the manufacturer finance arms really cemented our position within the market place.
Britannia currently supply 1800-2000 new vehicle units per annum and have been recently voted in the top 15 vehicle leasing companies within the UK.
We recently needed to expand our profitability as a business and have partnered with 2 new external business's which allow us to offer a Salary Sacrifice scheme to new and existing business clients, I was asked to head this scheme due to my knowledge and experience within the industry, this scheme is now fully implemented and we are gaining new business on a monthly basis.
The next business we partnered with was Autoserve who offer an full maintenance and service contract for the consumer, we decided to partner with Autoserve as the end user still recieve's the full manufactures maintenance and service responsibilities but at a much lower cost than using the main dealership, this has proven a very profitable addition to the business and has recently seen monthly revenue increase of £8000 per month.
Over the past 16 years I have built a very strong relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and leasing finance providers.
A high percentage of my business is driven from existing customer accounts who are constantly are looking for replacement vehicles or expanding their current fleet, they come to me as a trusted supplier who constantly offers a high level of serive and commitment.
My experience allows me to source the correct solution (car or commercial) for the customers specific requirements.
I am now lloking to expand my knowledge within the industry by looking at new and exciting oppertunities.
