Audrey Munava

Dedicated and compassionate individual with over 8 years of experience designing and implementing community-based programs in Murewa Rural District in Zimbabwe. I am a woman of sober habits and known for leading by example and conducting myself in line with the principles and values of the organisation. I am very flexible to adapt to evolving circumstances and possess the determination to meet challenges with win-win outcomes. I am a team player with excellent leadership acumen, currently looking for a Care Assistant position in the UK.

Although I do not have formal experience working in a care home setting, I have gained extensive hands-on experience caring for my husband’s elderly grandfather, who lived with dementia. I provided personal care, including bed baths, with respect and dignity, while offering companionship to support his limited mobility. I also assisted with meal preparation, medication adherence, and accompanied him to community facilities such as banks, shops, and medical appointments as his memory was increasingly getting poor by day. Beyond this personal caregiving experience, I am a quick learner with a strong willingness to grow and adapt within a professional care environment. As a mother of two and the primary caregiver to my two stepsons, I manage the needs of four children daily. This role has equipped me with valuable skills in multitasking, empathy, and attentive care, which I consistently deliver with dedication and effectiveness.
